Terms & Conditions for Early Move-in:
To ensure your Early Move-in request is processed, registration requests must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Monday, July 28. Late submissions: Registrations submitted after July 28 will not be guaranteed. If housing assignments can be arranged after July 28, there will be a $50.00 processing charge, per student. If any changes are needed after submission, you must contact the Residence Life Office at reslife@truman.edu.
You will be allowed to move directly into your Fall housing placement. The Residence Life Office (Missouri Hall 1100) will be open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday for you to pick up your keys. The building will be locked; you will need to contact the office (660-785-4227) to gain entry once you arrive to Missouri Hall. Requested times to move in must be during business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday), requests to move in outside of that time will be denied.
There is a nightly charge of $27.00 for housing and $21.75 for meals ($48.75 total). Charges will start on the date of your move-in until the date designated for First-Year and Returning students move-ins, respectively.
Charges will be applied to your Student Account, no later than the first two weeks of classes.
Please allow at least two business days to process your early move-in request. Students requesting early move-in will be contacted via email regarding their approval status. Please note that not all requests will be approved.
