3D Printing costs and turn-around depends upon multiple factors. A price quote and time estimate will be provide upon reciept of the .stl or .obj file.

Any 3D print jobs submitted on a Friday with a Monday due date, any 3D print jobs with 24 hour turn-around are considered RUSH jobs and will be billed a double rate.

Specialtiy PLA Filament: $.50 per gram

Payment Information

Payments for the exact amount is required. Payments for printing can be made at the Cashiers window in McClain Hall. Please specify the OP Output Center Revenue Account OR online payments can be made at secure.truman.edu/art-s - choose OP Print Center: Large Format Inkjet Printing, 3D Printing and Lamination to add you payment amount. Automatic reciepts are emailed to the Print Monitors in OP Output when online payments are made. Present printing reciept to OP1109 Art Department office to pick up completed print job.

3D printing Information:

Object will be printed with a base "raft". OP Output will not remove the raft from the object
Maximum size: 3.9 length x 3.9 width x 3.9 height
File formats: .stl and .obj
Object will be printed by default... with "supports", with 10% fill and using white filament

Note: 3D printing will contain surface imperfections due to the nature of the printing.

3D printing will not begin until a confirmation email reciept from secure.truman.edu/art-s is received in OP Output Center.

Multiple pieces/parts MUST be submitted as individual files. All 3D models must be sized to the final requested output size (maximum size is 3.9 x 3.9 x 3.9) - OP Output workers will not resize 3D models

If you have large files, please bring then to OP Output (OP1250) on a flash drive or portable hard drive during office hours.

WORKING WITH OP Output Printing Service

OP Output prints only .stl or .obj files.
CHECK FINAL DOUMENT SIZE!!. Document size must match requested print size or job will be rejected!
Print projects in OP Output will be completed on a first come, first served basis. Depending upon work load, print projects can take up to 36 to 48 hours to complete. Allow time in your schedule for resolution of problems.
OP Output does not deliver printed projects. Please pick up printed jobs in OP1250. Bring payment reciept to OP Output (OP1250) before the project will be released.
